They go over to him every now and then, similar to how the NFL goes over to Gene Steratore for rule breakdowns. At least that makes sense, you're going over to a former official who knows the rulebook like the back of his hand, I would like a similar thing with MMA referees or the existing role of Marc Ratner.

Going over to a coach to break down the corner conversations? You already have a fighter in the booth, why the hell do you need Trevor to translate stuff...

New 145 fan get me up to speed

Well now that 125's done, my second division is going to 145. It's not as deep as it used to, drove me nuts over the last few months looking at all the fighters who never got title shots, Swanson, Koch, Porerier, Oliveria, Silver holy shit. Anyway 135 is like an eternally clogged toilet with the most mediocre champions possible 145 seems like the best balance of speed and power.

Get me up to speed. Koch and Mendes were the fighters I was rooting for when I casually watched the division....

I've actually never ordered any food for delivery. I have eaten pizza a buddy ordered. I just don't really get the food delivery thing. If I want something, I'll drive my car to get it. If it's too snowy (lived in upstate NY), I'll just not get it and find something else to eat. Besides not being a huge fast food guy, it's just so lazy and gluttonous. Think about it. You don't ever have to leave home; people literally bring food to you for you to eat.

Ben Askren makes Tyron Woodley more relatable

As a guy that’s gone back and forth on Tryon Woodley, I think having Askren in the UFC makes Tyron look better.

Their friendship shows Woodley is 1) able to make and keep friends 2) able to takes jokes. If you are friends with Askren, you gotta be able to laugh at yourself.

To me, Askren coming in makes Woodley seem more personable and less standoffish, which makes him more likable.

His rap album still sucks though.

Did Cain actually lose to Ngannou or did his knee blow out causing him to go down and be GnP’d by Francis. Cain’s known to have bad knees having had knee surgery on each new the past I believe. This would make him more susceptible and prone to injury.


Similar to the Anderson Silva fight vs. Patrick Cote (I believe) when Patrick Cote simply walked backward, blew out his knee, and fell to his back and was finished. The injury really screwed him over not being beaten by Anderson.
