replying to another thread bout Rua got me thinking about fights where someone had their combat soul ripped right out of them .. a couple that immediately come to mind is Shogun against Jones and Cigano against Carwin .. utter annihilations that doomed the recipients of those beatdowns .. Never forget Rua tapping to pre-emptive strikes in a fight that swallowed all that juice he was riding on after the Lyoto redemption and was never to get back .. and jds's brutality against Carwin is epic...
