Here's to why it is:
1) Fights are fought to determine who the best in the world is.Landing a big and accurate shot like that has always been part of striking but does not equal a fact that the guy on the wrong side of it is the lesser fighter.
We all saw the Cain JDS trilogy and I doubt anyone here believes that Uriah Hall is actually the better fighter than Mousasi or that had Fujita actually KO's Fedor with that shot (and he came close) he would be considered the better fighter.
