At the time it was widely considered a gimmie fight for Fedor. If anything he was criticized for not dominating from the start and stopping Hunt within a minute. People even played up Fedor "almost being submitted by Hunt" to discredit him. But as time goes on and Hunt continues to remain relevant in the HW division a decade later it really speaks as a testament to Fedor's dominance.
