I don't understand cheddar-shaming Jews.

Of all the negative sterotypes that I have heard about various groups, the one that always confuses me is the sterotype of jews being thrifty/obsessed with money. It confuses me because any rational person should understand that this is not a negative trait, but instead a rational one that people of all backgrounds should have.

In a world where everyone is racing to obtain by debt a standard of living they cant afford, shouldn't we be encouraging people to stop enslaving themselves to banks...
