While I have enjoyed later entries in the franchise, I think the original--The Fast and the Furious--is still the best. While I concede that it ripped off Point Break, I thought it did it with style and, in the process, created something that felt fresh and exciting. The import/street racing world was not well-known outside of its own small subculture and presented the rest of us with a community that was interesting and colorful.
